Postmortem

The root cause for this was an engineer from our supplier performing work on another fiber in the same manhole as ours, and affecting our fiber in the process, causing it to disconnect for a couple of minutes. Everything recovered automatically after the fiber connection was restored. Unfortunately it did take about 30 minutes to complete. Required options to improve will be part of our Infrastructure plans.

Resolved

We had a fiber issue between our data centers which also caused network problems for RIPE Access. The fiber issues seems to be fixed now and RIPE Access has also recovered.
